Maybe being happy when dealing with a difficult situation is not the right word to use. Being realistic and accurate seems suitable. When things do not work out, how can you move forward?
Recently, I’ve been dealing with changes to YouTube’s platform. Last year, there was a major issue that made editing very difficult. Something that had taken a couple of hours turned into 6-12 hours to do. That was one obstacle to work around and it has never fully resolved. Now there are new issues that have popped up due to the latest updates on YouTube.
To say that I am frustrated is an understatement. On the one hand, it’s a huge blessing to be able to make videos and learn how to become a YouTuber. On the other hand, it’s a hard pill to swallow to earn less than minimum wage after putting in so much effort and time into making videos.
Maybe every Content Creator goes through this. I am trying very hard to stay on YouTube. It would be easier to quit and do something else. I am writing this article to ask for your help. I need to get my videos pushed out further than they currently are to reach more people. I would hate for you to quit yt but I quit several years ago due to health and stress. Yt is making it harder to earn. It seems that they pick and choose who becomes successful. Prayers our sweet friend. Let the Lord guide you.
I want to stay on YouTube, Gina. However, they keep updating the platform and it’s making it harder to stay. I’m putting my best efforts into making videos. What seems to work is to be outrageous, and full of drama. That seems to propel channels forward. I want to make good videos but I don’t want to compromise. I’m praying on it.
