Do you have a favorite person you enjoy on social media? I think most people do. Many seem trustworthy. They seem like good people. Some are not what they appear to be. Instead they have curated an image of what good looks like on the outside, but inside it may be a different story. This bizarre world of content creation can contort one’s soul. It can lead a person down a money-making pathway … but at what cost?
Entering the arena of content creation has damaged my ability to enjoy other Channels. Although I do consume content, the moment I detect a hustle, I have to figure out for myself: (1) did the person just make a mistake or (2) are they running a scam. It’s harder to determine who is trustworthy in this content creation economy.
With Seniors, they are at risk of being hustled by the smile-in-your-face types that use gentle language, that come across as kind and sweet. I’ve seen many women run this game on other women. Relationships are essential to women. That’s a very natural part of the female personality. Other women, who dress in sheep’s clothing, know how to manipulate them to get them to believe the story. Once you get hooked into the story (whatever it may be), the She-Wolf has her claws dug into you and you don’t even know it.
Maybe the She-Wolf is complaining one day but adding a positive spin to it, and drops hints of something she needs or wants. Wouldn’t you know…someone decides to send her the gift of the very thing she hinted for…what a coincidence! It must be fate you might think. Well think again. It’s a tactic. It’s actually a hustle. It’s someone who knows how to initiate a small-scale scam to their audience in hopes 1 person will fall for it. And you know what, it works.
I write this to issue a warning to the Seniors that follow my work. There are people who appear to be one thing but are not what they seem to be. It does not matter if they wear a cross, or claim to be a Christian. Many claim that but still run scams. Before sending anyone any type of gift, look at how they live. Not how they lived 5 or 10 years ago, but right now today. Do they have land? What about a house? Do they have immaculate lawns? Do they have lots of let’s say farm animals? What about a nice car? I suggest you observe what you see and not just what the person is telling you. There are plenty of people who truly struggle that may need a gift more than the She-Wolf. Do not be hustled by a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
